Punch 2
slots into the leather |

Take the
leather string and insert from the top to the bottom
and back up to the top. |

Add the
Concho by threading the ends of the string through the slot in the
Concho, and spread them apart. |

Make a small
vertical cut into the string with a carpet knife like shown in the
picture. |

Thread the
string that is on top through the slot you just cut. A pair of needle
nose pliers come in handy here. Pull tight, and spread the end of
the string apart again. |

Cut another
slot in the string that is on the bottom now like before. |

Repeat step
